The System topology

1. The system use a three-tier link structure. First layer: the polling stations, the second layer: the center of district level elections, the third layer: the Central Election Center. Use a VPN to constitute a nationwide network of the national elections system.
2. VPN private network is installed in the central election center, center of the district level election VPN server and ballot boxes in 311 polling stations. The ballot boxes are managed by PCs which equipped with the VPN client software;
3. The polling station is composed by a number of electronic ballot boxes, the management PC and the voter registration PC. They are networked by the network switches and constitute a local area network (LAN). The election data will be automatically uploaded to the central regional elections at district level through a VPN channel.
4. The center received the uploaded district level election polling data, will automatically enter the class database, and automatically uploaded to the Central Election Center;
5. Voter registration management system is also running in this dedicated VPN network;
6. A 46" big screen display will be installed in each polling station. Central regional elections at district level will install a 46" X 4 large screen display system. The Central Election Center will install a 46"X16 large screen display system. The polling station, Region election center, the Central Election Center will show the dynamic real-time election results on the big.
